Key Job Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning & Budgeting
Develop and implement financial plans aligned with the company’s long-term goals, including budgeting and forecasting. - Accounting & Reporting
Prepare accurate financial reports, statements, and forecasts; analyze financial performance, identify variances, and provide recommendations. - Cost Control & Project Accounting
Analyze costs, identify savings opportunities, and implement measures to optimize profitability. - Cash Flow & Treasury Management
Monitor cash flow, manage accounts receivable and payable, and ensure sufficient liquidity for operations and growth. - Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure adherence to financial regulations, UAE tax laws, and internal controls; identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks.. - Leadership & Coordination
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team. - Stakeholder Communication
Effectively communicate financial information and insights to senior leadership, investors, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (Master’s preferred).
- A professional qualification (e.g., CFA, CMA, ACCA, CPA) is a plus.
- Total of 8–10 years of experience in finance and accounting, within the catering and/or hospitality industry. A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Finance Manager in a medium-sized business unit.
- Strong understanding of UAE VAT laws, IFRS standards, and local labour regulations.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Tally, Oracle, SAP) and MS Excel.
